have visited Latter Rain Outreach Ministries!

In this day and age, just making ends meet and trying to find your place in the world takes precedence on most people’s list of priorities. Finding a church that delivers a good honest dose of the word of God in a family-oriented, spirit-filled congregation just doesn’t seem as important as finding a way to pay that overdue electric bill or dealing with the myriad challenges life throws your way every single day. The sad truth is that, for many people, going to church seems like a waste of time.

What a lot of people don’t realize, though, is that neglecting your spiritual health to focus on the world is one of the best ways to keep yourself stuck in poverty. If you want to feel happy and fulfilled, and if you want a life that brings glory to God, you NEED to hear the Word of the Living God preached – and you need to have a community of faithful Christian brothers and sisters to lean on when life is trying to drag you away from Jesus.

Latter Rain Ministries is a non-denominational church located in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania and has been helping young people in the surrounding area get drug and alcohol rehabilitation and onto a path toward Christ for more than ten years. Our focus on drug and alcohol rehabilitation and youth personal development has already created lasting change in the Susquehanna Valley by getting more than 100 young people off of the streets and into Teen Challenge programs throughout the United States. We are actively working to establish a homeless shelter, food pantry, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation and abstinence education programs in Sunbury. Our congregation is growing weekly, and we hope to see you at the next service.

If you can’t make it to our church services on Sunday, you can watch all of Pastor William Burris’ sermons on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrT2E_h_3m5WIPYPwovTMLg/videos.

What’s so different about Latter Rain Ministries? Our church works differently than many other churches that you may have been to. Instead of passing the collection plate, for example, our ministry is almost entirely funded through corporate gifts and through donations for used tires. Our drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs, food pantry, and planned homeless shelter is open to people of all ages and genders. We work closely with Teen Challenge (TeenChallenge.com) to provide much needed drug and alcohol rehabilitation and counseling in our local communities.

If you’ve ever wondered if you can be welcomed back to God, the answer is yes. You will always have a home, and we’d love it if Latter Rain Ministries could be the non-denominational, spirit-filled church that helps guide you back to God.

DO YOU NEED PRAYER? Visit our Contact page to send an email prayer request or call Pastor William Burris. Whether you’re in town and attending services regularly or ten thousand miles away, we will raise your prayer request up to God and BELIEVE that you will be delivered from whatever stranglehold the devil has on you in the name of Jesus.
